Bert Roofing, Inc. is a Texas Corporation created in 1988. The Bert family is the owner and the management. The Bert Family has been in the roofing business since the 1960s, and is now headed by President John Edward Bert II. We are located at 10021 Cayuga Drive, Dallas TX 75228.
John E. Bert worked as an insurance adjuster in the 1960s, living in the Lakewood and Dallas areas for over 50 years. As an insurance adjuster, he handled many hail damage roof claims and became familiar with the insurance and restoration process. Over years of evaluating roof claims, he was as knowledgeable as anyone in the construction business. The move to the contracting side was a seamless transition, and serving the local Dallas community became the family's work. The Bert Family has been in the roofing industry ever since.
Since 1988, Bert Roofing Inc. has completed over 40,000 projects, almost all in Dallas and the surrounding metroplex. The Bert family's roofing history reaches further back than the 1988 incorporation, so the actual project count across generations is considerably higher. Good word of mouth has grown a small family business into one of the established residential and light commercial roofers in Dallas and surrounding areas including Coppell, Plano, Richardson, and Rockwall. Both John B. Bert and John Edward Bert II have served as officers and board members for the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association. In 2007, after serving many years in many roles on the NTRCA Board of Directors, John Edward Bert II served as the organization's President. Dee and John Bert have been awarded the "Golden Hammer Award" for Industry Leadership from the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association. In total, Bert Roofing has earned 12 Golden Hammer Awards, making it one of the most decorated roofing contractors with a residential focus.
