Gutters With Roof Replacement

Seamless Gutters in Dallas, Installed With Your Roof Project

Bert Roofing installs seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts when you replace your roof. The crews are already on site, the drip edge and gutter integrate once instead of twice, and the gutters get sized for the new roof's drainage load. We do not take standalone gutter jobs, and we will tell you who does if that is what you need.

Why We Are Honest About This

We Do Not Take Standalone Gutter Jobs

Lots of contractor websites have a Gutters page that pretends to be a gutter company. We are roofers. Gutters are part of the work when we replace a roof, because the drip edge and gutter integration happens once and has to be done right. If you are weighing whether to keep your existing gutters during a roof project, our guide on leaving gutters in place or replacing them walks through the call. Outside of a roof project, gutter cleaning, repair, or replacement is best handled by a Dallas gutter specialist who does that work every day. If you call us for a standalone gutter job, we will point you at one of the local companies we trust.

If you are already replacing the roof, that is when we install gutters, and that is where this page applies.

Why Bundle

Three Reasons Gutters Belong With a Roof Project

When you replace a roof, the drip edge, fascia, and gutter system all touch each other at the eave. Doing them in one project costs less and works better than splitting the work across two contractors.

Gutter Questions, Answered Honestly

Do you do standalone gutter jobs?
No. We only install gutters as part of a roof replacement project. If you need gutters cleaned, repaired, or replaced without a roof project, we will recommend a Dallas gutter specialist who does that work full-time.
Why bundle gutters with a roof replacement?
Three reasons. The crews are already on site, so there is no second mobilization fee. Drip edge and gutter integration is done once, correctly, instead of having two contractors fight over the seam. And the gutters get sized to match the new roof's drainage load, not the old one.
What gutter materials do you install?
Seamless aluminum, 5 inch K-style for most homes, 6 inch for larger roofs or homes with significant tree coverage. Custom colors to match the home or the new roof. Downspouts and elbows in matching aluminum.
Do you install gutter guards?
When requested, yes. We are honest about the tradeoffs: gutter guards reduce maintenance but rarely eliminate it. They are most useful on second-story gutters that are hard to clean and on homes with heavy tree debris.
How much does gutter installation cost as part of a roof project?
For a typical single-family home, seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts bundled with a roof replacement add $1,800 to $4,000 to the total project cost depending on linear footage and complexity. Insurance claims may cover gutters when they are damaged in the same event as the roof.
