Wholesale Shingles Prices Rise September 2012
Earlier this month we received the following from one of our major suppliers: “Dear Valued Customer, The residential roofing manufacturers have implemented several increases this year and just recently announced an additional one for September. Unfortunately, we must pass these increases on and will raise prices effective with all shipments beginning September 17, 2012. We are anticipating an increased range of 5-10% on products and fuel surcharges. We will continue to provide you with the latest pricing news to help you plan your business. Please contact your XXXX Distribution representative with any questions and thank you for business.” Others have made similar comments to us.
